About project
This is an ambitious project: in a market where most banking apps are still cluttered and outdated,UnitBank aims to be a digital leader right from the start.
They are not simply replicating international solutions. Instead, they aim to develop their ownunique, locally meaningful product with an intuitive user interface focused on people.
Understanding that UnitBank does not have a developed visual identity, we also created a preliminary logo concept.
The logo became the starting point for building the entire visual system of the application.

Prior to designing the interfaces, we conducted a comprehensive analysis of the market landscape and examined user behaviors.
We benchmarked current banking applications in Armenia and interviewed several users from Yerevan who are already using mobile banking.
We analyzed typical scenarios based on the Job-To-Be-Done framework.
Numerous terms and procedures that may be confusing to the general public
Navigation is built around the bank's functions rather than the user's needs
Users fear losing control: automatic payments and loans cause anxiety
Apps are overloaded, and the UIs are ”corporate”, not user-friendly

A visual style that is easily scalable was established.
These visual elements became part of the overall product approach and helped set a tone understandable to digital users and a broader audience.
