What is a
Beryl?
Beryl is a service created for a large regional Internet provider, operating as a web portal, and
also operational on Smart TV, gaming consoles, modules and systems compatible with webOS, Tizen,
Android TV, Apple TV, and Roku. It has taken some considerable efforts to create the server
architecture and to optimize the data in order to ensure the service overstability and high
resistance to heavy workloads.

User profile
We have implemented a convenient and use-to-use system to create and
manage profiles of all family members and relatives. For security reasons, we have added the
‘Parent Control’ option to filter out the unwanted or unsuitable content.
Adding
We have enhanced the service with the options to add the missing
users’ profiles, to assign respective access privileges to new users and to protect each entry
by additional PIN authorization.
